I visited producer Frank Filipetti mixing Korn's "Take A Look In The Mirror" album at the studio of Jonathan Davis. I documented the sessions for JBL. Says Filipetti "Jonathan's room is almost like being in a recording truck in the sense that it is very wide but very narrow. So you've maybe got six and a half, seven feet from the front wall to the rear…. I wasn’t getting the proper frequency response at my engineer's position…We set up the JBLs and I was able to get a much truer sense of what's going on in the low end.. The mixes we're getting now are pretty much right on the money" These tracks became a hallmark of the band's career.
