Pavarotti and Friends Yamaha

Luciano Pavarotti produced a live performance and album to benefit the children in post-civil war Liberia. The concert was broadcast live from Modena Italy by the BBC and the album was produced by Phil Ramone for Decca London. This video takes us back stage with Recording Engineer, Frank Filipetti for the recording of Luciano's duets with twelve of the worlds great recording artists. To handle the challenges of a live broadcast, Filipetti chose the Yamaha 02R digital mixer as the core of the audio system. I traveled to Modena to document the event and produce this piece for Yamaha.
